Kansai International Airport is an international airport located on an artificial island. It mostly handles international flights, while Osaka International Airport – domestic flights. The total number of passengers in previous year in Kansai International Airport reached 14 million. The airport is located 52 km away from the centre of Osaka.

Getting to the airport

Buses arrive at the International Departures Lobby on the 4th floor of the Terminal 1 Bldg.

To catch a bus from the Terminal 2 Bldg., go to the bus stop outside the 1st floor of the Terminal 2 Bldg. Buses to all destinations depart from here.

Buses to all destinations can be boarded at the Terminal 2 Bldg., and all buses from the Terminal 2 Bldg. stop at the Terminal 1 Bldg. However, some bus services can only be boarded at the Terminal 1 Bldg. (and do not stop at the Terminal 2 Bldg.).

You could to the airport also by train, taxi or car.

You could use the high-speed ferry to reach Kobe Airport (journey time – 30 min). From Kobe To KIX Take the shuttle bus after arriving at the Ferry Terminal. The shuttle bus journey time to ferry port is 4-6 minutes.
