Cathay Pacific is the Hong Kong airline, with its main hub at Hong Kong International Airport. The airline was founded on September 1946.The airline's main activities - passenger and cargo services to 114 destinations in 36 countries worldwide, with a fleet consisting of Boeing 747,  Boeing 777, Airbus A330, Airbus A340. The airline also operates flights from Bangkok and Taipei. In 2010, Cathay Pacific together with Dragonair tranporsted at about 27 million passengers. Cathay Pacific is one of the founding members of the Oneworld alliance.

Passanger are allowed to have one hand baggage not exceeding 56x36x23cm. Weight allowance:

• Business Class 10kg
• Premium Economy Class 7kg
• Economy Class 7kg

In addition passengers may carry onboard one of the following items free of charge:

Adults/children - 2 bags, infants – 1 bag, Members of Marco Polo Club Diamond and Gold members – 3 bags,  maximum weight per bag:
First: 32kg
Business: 32kg
Premium Economy: 25kg
Economy: 23kg

Total dimensions of each bag must not exceed 158cm, for infants – 115 cm

Check-in for Cathay Pacific flights

Passengers could check-in:

• On-line in 48 hours up to 90 minutes prior to flight departure
• Using mobile phone from 48 hours up to 90 minutes before departure
• At Self Check-In Kiosk at the airport within 48 hours
• At the airport counter. Check-in begins 120 minutes before scheduled departure time.
